In the tradition of the great balladeers of days gone by, this week I am featuring Canada's own Gordon Lightfoot. The lyrics will scroll up over the slide show so you can see the poetic construction of the piece. If you happen to catch Mr. Lighfoot live you might notice that the words are different than this version. The ballad is a living form that can change over time and through multiple tellings.
