The first half imposes reflection. How many of us are living with souls that died long ago? The second half creates a great visual that drives home the depth of the former. A big ole empty soul. Wow. I have experience with M&Ms so I shiver at the thought of a hollow peanut M&M. :
Really like the choice of line break between rot/leaving. The pause there is significant to me. Love to stop by again, looking forward to that next post.
Can't believe I haven't read this one. Like the comparison.
