lovely and there is nothing like a beach at night in San Diego....you have a home run...bkm
oh stoke that fire...great imagery..love the sandy piles of smiles...happy one shot!
"the sun teased,
then fell into
a waiting ocean"
That set of lines has no business being as effective as it is. They're my favorite lines in the poem.
That said, I'm sighing over the last line. Yeah. *sigh*
soo refreshing..i love beaches and especially with fire on..that one is really lovely!
You bring the poem down to a gut level through the flow of images of the beach and ocean, framing it by time cherished out of the workweek, with great sensory detail and sadness... great one shot!
Ah love by the Pacific ocean ...
There's too much there not to be something.
Nice One Shot
Moon smiles (down on lovers ya know)
hi steve...what a great relaxing day spent here..captured so masterly..think you sold san diego to me..cheers pete
oh yes - stoke that fire...we collapsed in sandy piles
of smiles and salty skin...this sounds just too good!!!
Beautiful...you paint such lovely images here...just beautiful :)
Compact, taut and beautiful imagery. You capture the tingle of first love and the longing for it to go on and on and on. Lovely. Thanks. Gay
This is just gorgeous. Captures both the essence of the seaside and longing and uncertainty (I thought we might fall in love). Fantastic!
So romantic. I love the sandy piles of smiles and salty skin. And that picture is amazing.
Versatile poet you are, each time you delight and surprise me with your penned ingenious poems.
Cheers,
Joanny
